GrahamJags
Got a couple of local acts over the weekend starting with Steve Grozier tonight, the excellend Tragic O'Hara on Saturday and Crystal on Sunday. Also got We Are Scientists at Tuts on Friday night, so should be a decent weekend on the gig front.

Miguel Sanchez
Also, if The View were the only band I'd ever heard I wouldn't think they were Scotland's best.

50/50 Winner
Managed to get Twenty One Pilots tickets for London in November. My eldest son is going to be well pleased. However, given the cost, he'll be on dishes duty until he leaves home.
Ira Gaines
Olly Murs announced for next March too. Don't really want to get tickets until I've heard the album though so hoping for a second date.

I got tickets for their Blackpool gig instead of Glasgow. The Empress Ballroom looks like a cracking place to see them and it has the added bonus of being on the Friday rather than a Wednesday night.
murphy1970
The Mary Chain were on top form on Wednesday night. They are one of those bands I'm glad I missed live in my younger days. Gone are the days of chaotic gigs, over in jig time, ending with the band fighting amongst themselves or a rammy in the audience. These days JAMC are a tight, live outfit and they ran through a great selection from their back catalogue. Reverence live was worth the ticket price on its own.

YER SISTERS YER MAW
I came across this earlier. Lydon got a bottle launched at him during a P.I.L gig in Chile recently. It looked a sair yin but he's pretty hardcore and managed to continue with the gig.
