GrahamJags
Sunflower Bean at Broadcast tonight. Not heard much of their stuff, but the new album is pretty good. Only really going to see The Van T's who are supporting. Easily one of the best new bands in the country at the moment.

ArabGaz
Now there's a blast from the past, saw them at the Barras round about the time Bleed American came out, was a good show as far as I can remember. I was at that as well. May 2002 if I recall.I'm going to the one in November as well. Not too keen on their more recent output but if they play anything from Bleed American or Clarity i'll be happy enough.
RiG
Not really gotten into their most recent albums but Bleed American and Futures are two of my favourite albums ever.
Ross.
Got a couple of Green Day tickets for their Zürich gig in January. Not bothered to go and see them for about 10 years or so having seen them half a dozen times already but figured I might as well.
Aidan
The View tonight at Montrose Town Hall, supported by Billy Mitchell. Seen both live before and really enjoyed them, I'll be interested to see how much of a difference it makes with Kyle being off everything though.

Miguel Sanchez
Very glad I opened this and discovered JEW are playing. The songs that have come out from their new album so far sound a bit heavier than some of their recent stuff so if you stopped listening past Futures you should be okay.

I've went back and listened to Bleed American for the first time in years, still a great album. Would have been tempted but it's tough for me to make midweek gigs during the school term now. Just one of the many perks of being a parent.
stumigoo
Got Jimmy Eat World tickets this morning. Really can't wait for this. Got the tickets for my wife's birthday. After a few months of dating it turned out we had seen Jimmy Eat World at the exact same gigs over the space of a few years but never met. Bleed American was probably the most important album of my teenage years.

Derek Patterson
Anyone at L7 last night? Didn't even realise they were playing until I walked past on the way back from ICW at the Garage.
GrahamJags
Found out John Grant is playing at Berghain while I'm in Berlin so I bought a ticket. Hopefully his set is light on new stuff, as that spoiled the Glasgow gig earlier in the year. Either way, he'll play Queen Of Denmark and it'll be glorious.
