Stellaboz
Alcohol is boring. Even in social situations it turns everyone into loud arseholes. People who boast about how much they can handle, what’s that about? You can buy a legal drink in a pub and drink lots of it. Some achievement. Im oan it. Shots shots shots. Waaay waaay. Boring.Mostly youngsters who do this. Anyone in their 30s or above speaking like that needs shot.

Silvio Tattiescone
Funnily enough I noticed Mike Brewer wearing a pair on Wheeler Dealers last night, so the the footwear choice of used car salesmen then?
Trackdaybob
Having never heard of Toms before I'm very happy to say, I would suggest a 'Shoes for wankers' thread is the best place for them. No offence!!

Guest Moomintroll
Ingerlund might actually have a decent team here, with a semi competent Manager who has a long term gameplan.

MONKMAN
My feelings are hurt [emoji20]I thought you were better than that.I’ve only ever heard of Toms once. This was over 10 years ago when I lived in Sydney, and shared a flat with a group of Irish boys. It was the only type of footwear they seemed to own, and they wore them all time. I had no idea they were actually relevant in 2019.They were atrocious back then, and even more so now. As the old P&B saying goes, kill them with fire.

Dundee is hardly Milan or Paris (no shit, Sherlock) but I've never seen anybody wear them here for about 5 years. Shandon is having a shocker. The last pair of 'wallopers gutties' that were doing the rounds here that I know of were Mocks.
