The shovel head smacking ritual was by a guy called Oliphant from the Bog Road as I remember. Don't actually think the whole Brentford model is a bad idea, we just executed it horrifically. FFC 1876 Posted September 14, 2020 Share Posted September 14, 2020 Yeah I wouldn't mind us trying to pick up gems from down south, M&M will hopefully do the sensible thing by watching them in a trial rather than signing them off the back of some dodgy scouts referral ala Hartley. Don't really know what the covid repurcussions are though for bringing in trialists. As in if there is a limit or an amount of time they've got to wait to train with another club.
