Don't really understand Richard Foster's wee dig saying the players were enjoying it too much at the final whistle. As far as I could see they were just showing appreciation to the fans that had travelled.

Richard Foster another media darling cos who he is married to

If it hadn't been for a 90th minute equaliser for Ayr, we would have been playing Elgin city at home for a place in the semi.

Ayr will be tough but if everyone is fit, we get the right formation, then we have a decent chance. I just hope we have a right go at them and don't play cagey like we did at home to Dunfermline.

Weekend of 11th march the game?

Professional performance and M&S got it spot on. The frenzied media’s luv with Darvel was over after 24 mins. Thought Henderson was so bloody good, remembered me of another superb player David Moss. Nesbit turned in a much improved performance and the shape of the team excellent. Ayr are unquestionably a brilliant tie, and the potential riches that winning the tie could bring could be a game changer. Thanks Bairns for a great night

There is absolutely no reason you can’t be confident of beating us if you have a full team to pick from. It’s hard to say what kind of form either side will be in come March but I think it’ll be a tight one.

Henderson absolutely magnificent. Shout out to Gary Oliver up against the two thugs of centre backs. He holds the ball up fantastically and finished excellently for his goal. Tonight’s starting 11 is our strongest IMO. I’ll let Morrison off with the howler since he made a terrific save first half. I fancied Ayr more than Raith, after ICT was out the hat. Why? No idea but it’s a real chance to progress. Glad it’s at home and not at SP. We were about a minute on Saturday away from playing Elgin at Home and by all accounts Elgin should have been two up before Ayr equalised. Hoping a big crowd to back us to Hampden.

The pedant in me feels compelled to point out you wouldn’t be playing Elgin if they’d won. You’d be away at Hearts.

For some reason I think I prefer facing you lot than Darvel, possibly just PTSD from playing (former) junior teams from Ayrshire. Still expecting a cagey game.
