After a slow start in Meadowbank on Saturday they came up with some good quality coverage in the end.

Can they do it on a Tuesday night down in Ayr is the question.

It would be a real statement of intent for the rest of the season if they could get this game shown tonight.

I streamed it down at Ayr. Was a nice stable stream despite being a full stand which can be a gamble on the mobile networks.

My camera was sitting on the pitchside of this glass barrier getting remote controlled while I sat the press area which was braw.

However, FTV have a pretty clunky setup. Their commentators need to be next to the camera because they send commentary via the camera and not through an audio interface, the camera will likely sharing on one of the little gantries at Ayr which is a couple metres lower. They switch between cameras because there's a conservatory looking thing there now that blocks the view whichever corner flag you're on the opposite end of. Wont be a problem tonight but the gantries aren't in cover so you need to make sure your stuff is safe from rain. There's a few challenges to overcome.

Has there been any chatter about a potential new player or players coming in on loan now that McGlynns had a bit of cash made available to him? Hoped he’d maybe have had sombody lined up to cover for Millers injury but it all seems a bit quite so far.

Had a quick look back and think all of our loan signings were complete before the end of July last season so could be that there are limited options left by the time he got the new funds. You know he is unlikely to just bring in anyone for the sake of it though so might just take a bit more time to find the right calibre of player to bring in at this moment.

Also recent injuries might have changed the plan on who to bring in.

If anything, this is to encourage “self policing” ie forcing coach companies, clubs and fans’ orgs to bear the brunt of responsibility lest they face sanctions. It feels insidious.

Pretty convinced this will disappear without a trace. Completely unworkable. Police Scotland will just laugh at it, and rightly so. What would the Police do with an unregistered coach? Tell everyone to turn back? Utter garbage, and a real and genuine infringement on civil liberties.

What constitutes a bus or a coach? More than 7 people? Hired vehicle, personal vehicle or solely vehicle and driver rented for that event? Another half baked load of shite that will wither on the vine. Still, it will generate another bunch of meetings which are a great substitute for actual work, so Holyrood will embrace that aspect of it.

Another pile of dross dreamed up by some political wannabe sat behind a desk with nothing better to do. Utter gash.
File it alongside their bottle deposit scheme and their fisheries ultra protection zones.

While you correctly dismiss this nonsense, probably better wipe the spittle off your screen from typing that last paragraph - this was a UK Government brainwave.

Where has it been confirmed McGlynn has funds over and above the Bisland deal to bring someone else in?

From the club. Was on FD yesterday, still money for one or potentially two loan signings. An extra 24k was raised selling unsold shares, they said this was announced at the FSS meeting on Friday. Presumably that’s what’s funding it.

Mustn't have been paying close enough attention as I didn't take from it that this money wasn't already accounted for (was working whilst listening tbf).

Whilst I agree, let’s no get into the political talk. The thought of DPB resurrecting himself under some other name gives me the absolute fear😩

We have 3 options at LB now and Mackie is almost back so wouldn't be prioritising there.

I agree left sided attacker would be my choice if we could only get one in.  Bonus points if they can cover up-front alone, if required, but unlikely you would get that in one player.
