Falkirk_Bairn_1983
Got to cut the Dunfermline fans some slack. I'd be fuming and bitter if we had signed Willo Flood too.

Didn't even need to try very hard, just the temerity to suggest a player deemed not good enough for Falkirk might not be great. 22 minutes ago, DeeBairn said: Sensitive? Nah, not really. Bemused as all hell as to why you are here laughing at us trying to unearth new players when your own club continues to hoover up Uniteds shite. But you do you, I guess. We hoover up United shite, you hoover up Truro Uniteds shite. What a time to be alive. 11 minutes ago, Shodwall cat said: Hartleys spent the last 6 months plus scouting these guys whilst the pars manager has obviously had to panic buy the likes of flood and durnan as noone would sign them if they happened to have watched them last season. Must've been some player in those four games in the past six months, one can only imagine why Truro didn't bother playing such a talent more.
Marshmallo
Flood signing for the Fifers reminds me of us signing John Rankin. Could see it a mile off and could see from ten miles off that he was going to be a complete failure. None of us know of TOE is going to be any good but I would rather have that than signing a known quantity who is shit (Alex Harris, Danny Devine, Willo Flood). The game is different down South, it's more physical and played at a ridiculous speed. Some players will be more suited to that whereas some will be better suited up here. I have faith that Hartley has done his homework on him.
Anthony Fitzgerald
To be fair if Falkirk were signing shite like Flood, Devine and Durnan, and Dunfermline were signing relatively unknown players which could go either why, I’d be all over their thread trying to bam their fans up just so I could cheer myself up. My empathy is with you Grant. Have a great Monday evening.

Guest
So, I take it that’s close of business for today. Looks like another form of Super Tuesday just might be headed our way.
Bairnardo
Poor Grant. What a mess he is in.
WestfieldBairn
Thought 3 players had agreed and were getting announced today with a further two on Tuesday? So can we presume 4 tomorrow ?
Guest
Oh I know. He gives us a fundamental truth as he sees it. I mean, what were a pro club like F.C. Halifax Town thinking of by taking on a 23 year old who was probably 6 years beyond the make or break stage from a team like Stocksbridge Steels? That really is scraping the barrel. What made them think he was good enough for the 5th tier of English football? Whatever happened to Jamie Vardy anyway? Or Crystal Palace, a respected big time club. Incoming transfer you say? Twenty two year old you say? From Greenwich Borough you say. That’s scraping the barrel a bit is it not? Whatever happened to Ian Wright anyway?

Travelling involved plus waiting on confirmation from English FA.
ShaggerG
Apologies if this has been mentioned already but I can't be arsed sifting through previous posts to see! Anyway, Froxylias's Wiki page has him listed as a Falkirk player but states further down that he signed for Livingston yesterday as he wants to play in the top flight? It's Wiki of course so it's probably all a lot of pish!
Guest
So, if he goes there, he is in competition with Sibbs for a spot on the bench.
DeeBairn
That may explain the lack of signings today, he's verbally agreed to sign with us whilst he was on holiday, then jumped ship to Livi when he got back. Shame, but given he was never our player, no loss if he has done.
FalkirkLad
Really confused by this Froxylias business, does not strike me as a Hartley signing one bit

If nothing has changed since that was released then you can expect a minimum of two tomorrow and possibly as much as four.

Assuming everything goes as expected, 90% of the names will be a complete surprise to everyone as they haven't been linked with us. The club seem to have tightened up considerably on leaks from within. Unfortunately they can't control info from without.
