Namely a place where the customers can watch the performance comfortably and dry. They funnel in the wind and rain and just swirls it about. Lowering the roof would address these issues with the bonus of increasing the volume of the crowd and therefore the atmosphere. This has to be the lowest priority gripe I've read yet.

Its the lack of windbreaks at the sides that are the problem.
Harry Kinnear
Nope it’s not the roof or the windbreaks, it’s the lack of a drum.

I really can't stress enough how I'd rather have a roof like this Over something like this Or something like this

My seat and those sitting around me (roughly the middle rows of the main stand) don’t seem to have this problem you speak of?? Bigbri Bairn
Anyone remember the Caribbean band that played in the temp stand one game? Or am I imagining it? Edited March 17 by Bigbri Bairn -

That sounds a better idea than just a single drum. We could build a stage in the corner at the South/Main and put a full band in there. It would beat a lorry or some dudes in a hot tub.

Maybe so! do that and put a panel at the front of the roof with the bonus as a good advertising hoarding

Pretty sure that was for Latapy day? They had steel drums and mandolins, no pics of them unfortunately. Dwight Yorke was up for the game as well Edited March 17 by NavyBlueArmy1876

Popular Post Grangemouth Bairn
Is it just me ? After years in the doldrums, we are looking good for a crack at promotion via the playoffs, we are in a Scottish Cup Semi at Hampden with a tough, but winnable game, we are playing some great attacking football, we have players in the team that appear to love playing for us, the fans are 100% behind the team and we have a manager who we are all behind and respect, yet the main gripe on here is the design of the roof on the stand. I really don’t fucking get why some people watch football - I genuinely don’t.

Whose opinions and takes on all things FFC generally bear little - make that no- resemblance to (a) reality or (b) anyone else's. Stick him on ignore.

Dwight Yorke was up for the game as well There were big card squares with the letters that spelt out his name placed at regular intervals along the coconut shy. At a certain point the people who got one had to hoist them up and display them. I was one of those lucky fellows, anyone got a photo of that part of the ground?
