Annoying things people write on Facebook

Was going to post about the sharing of the "bridezillas" Balgonie Castle affair.

I then read the meltdown the wedding planner/venue manager had on facebook and couldn't believe it.

How to destroy a business in 1 easy step!

It was gloriously funny. The Manager/nutter deleted all her Facebook messages but obviously forgot she had it set up to automatically share on Twitter so the offending nonsense was still on there.

In true Facebook style however, loads of women who don't know either party bombarded the Castle's FB page and they've now called the cops after receiving death threats. What an utter clusterfuck

The Hotel burd was an utter loonball right enough, but it all came out of the classic modern scenario -

  • Bride to be signs contract with venue
  • Bride to be then decides she doesn't like terms of contract
  • Venue points out legality of contract and costs of breaking it
  • Rather than taking responsibility for her own earlier actions, bride to be then resorts to trying to bully venue via social media, to get what she wants

The venue burd played right into the mob's hands, to be fair.

Key point missed though, she never mentioned the venue by name specifically to avoid any arguments. The heads gone nutter came steaming in to abuse her and break dpa laws without any real necessity. Lunatic

The bride in this case seemed to get the wrath of someone who had been wound up by this stuff happening regularly.

A bit like the teacher laying into the quiet kid who drops a pencil while the nutjobs are chucking desks.

While Facebook throws this shite up all too frequently, this was a bit different in that the first person to mention the venue was the psycho wedding planner, who then posted up the financials of the agreement, as well references to various add ons the bride "couldn't afford". A massive publicity own goal.

Although the tidal wave of full time mummies, thick as shit " hunni's" etc laying in has exacerbated things somewhat.
