Scorge Posted June 4, 2021 Share Posted June 4, 2021 (edited) I gave it a rewatch last year and it's still brilliant, the sheer depth of the story is still unmatched IMO. The final series feels slightly rushed, but picking holes in it is damn near impossible. As an Eminem fan I love the fact Dominic West, the actor that plays McNulty and also played Fred West in a drama actually voiced the intro to Eminem's Relapse album. I've never actually rewatched it, I stupidly loaned them to a mate I've not spoken to in years. scottsdad Posted June 22, 2021 Share Posted June 22, 2021 Just finished re-watching all five seasons. It is a fantastic show. The character arcs, the minor stories, all played out brilliantly. Season 5 did sag a little but maybe that's because a) it was shorter than the others, b) it was clearly the final season and they were tying up stories rather than playing the long game, and c) the bonkers McNulty storyline. McNulty was hardly in season 4 and now was back and up to ridiculous antics. stevieKTID Posted July 2, 2021 Share Posted July 2, 2021 Just finishing watching season 1 for the umpteenth time, it never disappoints, from Bunk burning his clothes to Daniels and his RoboCop walk, Omar walking, Bubbles, it's insane how many strong characters there are, I must admit I got emotional when Wallace was taken out of the game. I had to drop some stuff off with a mate that works in a coffeeshop, the tourists are back so he was busy, I waited on the benches outside till he was ready, next to me was a group of Americans, I kind of knew but asked where they were from.....
