I'm sure investors in the Middle East will be thrilled at a club some of whose fans wave flags where a six pointed star is on it. Will go down wonders with their calm rational Muslim brethren who are never known to fly off the handle on the flimsiest of pretext at anything smelling of Jewishness. But the real clincher is no one owning more than 15%. Quite aside from that not being the sort of business model Middle Eastern or Far Eastern businessmen like, especially when taking over an ailing company (they tend to prefer the omnipotent overlord model), it smacks of the infamous "20 Shares Max" model of Heart Of Midlothian, which was designed to ensure the same fate that befell St Bernard's and later Third Lanark could never befall them, but at the cost that the club would have to rely solely on any money it earned itself, as there was simply no incentive for any directors to make an investment when they'd little guarantee on how the money would be spent, let alone get a return on it. The end result was of course the "yo-yo" and near bankruptcy years of the late 70s to early 80s. That model is good for small grassroots clubs (Juniors, EOS, etc) wanting to ensure their club doesn't fall into the hands of property speculators only interested in the land, but for a professional football club it is a nonsense.
