Bairnardo Posted November 2, 2019 Share Posted November 2, 2019 Looking forward to rewatching Ozymandias as I am getting close now, but I must admit, and I was similar first time round, season 5 has started to lose me a wee bit. Walt is too much of a c**t (say my name... f**k off) and the way Hank rumbled him, with the book sat on top of the shitter was fucking rubbish. For me the best episodes featured some sort of comedy and a mixture of gus, mike, Jesse, Walter saul and hank. The episode 'Salud' is probably my 2nd favourite of the whole show after 'Felina'. The scene at Don Eladio's hacienda is superb and I remember the audible 'shitttttttt' I let out when I first watched it. Still gives me a thrill when I watch it for a 4th time. The scene in the car park where Walter has rigged Gus' car in 'End Times' is brilliant, the suspense when Gus stops and realises, then when he looks out over the rooftops to see if there is anyone there, is unmatched. How much of Better Call Saul did you watch? The more recent seasons have sort of focused more on some of the Breaking Bad storylines (if I can put it that way to avoid spoilers).
