He's contracted until the end of May, we can't force him to make a decision before that and until then we expect him to keep doing the job that he's contracted for. I don't doubt Aitken is hanging on to see if anything else comes up, the DFC job this next season is one hell of a task and Stevie has always said he fancies full time. If we could get most of them signed up it would give us a decent spine of a team. Glad the SeaGal is being kept on, as with Thomson and Stirling away he should slot in quite nicely. I guess this also confirms one of three things, either Sparky is away because he's on wages we can't justify for a squad player, the bust-up with Carswell or because he's go something else lined up. Surely we'd have kept him as a centre-mid over Grant Gal? Sparky was barely seen in the team after it unless absolutely required. I thought we'd blown it but we were brilliant that day and thoroughly deserved to win. I seem to recall the Albion fans were seething and it's good to see it hasn't left them.
