Reynard
Maybe they each have a whole Aylesbury duck each to themselves. Maybe they do. I'd need about two to get decent amounts of meat off them.

Mak
Duck is nice but veal is better. So Granny Danger is in favour of cruelty to animals. Quelle surprise. #veal #unethical
Confidemus
It's goose that you want to be eating at Christmas dinner, not a shitty little duck. I agree about pheasant all the same. The only actual fun to be had with pheasant is shooting the b*****ds. Same with duck and pigeon . You'll get a reasonable bit of meat of a pigeon, but you need a couple of pheasant for a proper manly dinner. Duck is obviously a bit bigger and decent meat too, but goose is the best of the lot. Turkey is fucking American shite. They can keep it over there for their thanksgiving pish and we will stick with goose, which is tastier and a far superior meat with decent flavour. Plus, let's not forget, roasters in goose fat are perhaps the finest way on Earth to consume a potato.

You have to remember to cook them for longer and hotter though, or they turn out as a greasy mess.

True, but when you get them right, crispy and golden with slightly charred edges... tattie heaven.

jagfox
Pheasants are thick as f**k. Having spent time in Dumfrieshire they would run up the road rather than get out the way of your motor. You could literally catch them by hand if you had the nerve to break their necks.

Yeah the animal rights c***s pretty much vetoed any prospect of us being allowed decent veal over here. The more suffering the calf is in the tastier and more tender the meat. The same animal rights leftarded c***s that are silent on the subject of halal meat becoming more and more routine in this country. They are caught on the prongs of their own politically correct shite. Fucking p***ks the lot of them.

They are absolutely the worst of the lot. But if he likes veal then fair play to him, I'm sure most Dundonians couldn't even point to veal on the map. They have to die because we eat meat and I fucking love a good bit of steak, chicken, pork - just about any meat tbh. But that quite from Reynard was pretty disgusting to me. 'The more suffering the tastier', fucking hell. In the case of veal, it's actually true. Its not so much the case in the "highly strung "animals. If you stress a deer for instance, its meat becomes fucking shite. You have to take those out without them knowing anything about it. But a decent slab of veal requires a certain amount of reasonable discomfort for the animal. A bit like fois gras too. Well worth the effort all the same.
