Would it surprise you? A poster who pushes up the post count whenever he can, and probably attracts new posters to the site. It's all a bit suspicious

Yeahhh, that's it.

Person 1 - "Hey, you should go on to pie and bovril as there's this utter fanny who posts the same tedious shite over and over and over again and then some more!"

Person 2 - "Wow, that sounds great! When can I sign up?!"

While it's understandable that zero pointers like yourself might get disturbed by a possible link between Div and the Box Office, I can state with authority that our contact is restricted solely to the cocaine-fuelled binge personally funded by the site owner each year. See you (well obviously not you) in November again!

Well, that's two of his aliases rumbled straight away, see how they both attempt humour to try and deflect from the point, yet neither actually deny it.

Cunning, but not cunning enough to get past me

You didn't have a point: that's why you're the very definition of a zero pointer.

Try's to hard to get noticed. Definition of zero pointer IMO

As much as it would indeed have been hilarious if I was trolling you all, the results will be coming up soon. The delay was caused by a rare outbreak of real life on my part over the weekend - unfortunately I had to spend some time talking to actual people, which was a bit of a pain. Hopefully I won't have to do that again for a while.

A total of 46 posters voted in these awards, with 79 people receiving one or more votes. Exactly 50 posters received 3 or more points, which makes my life very easy when it comes to the results.

10 or more points were needed to make it into the top 20.

16 or more points were needed to make it into the top 10.

27 or more points were needed to make it into the top 5.

The overall winner had 87 points, giving them a winning margin of 24 points.

On tenterhooks here. I went camping in Friday night I was more than a bit disappointed when I didn't return to 20 pages of seethe on Saturday evening. Glad you're doing it the way you are though, with write ups etc.

50 worst posters surely has to follow.

Well, that's confirmed that I'm a zero-pointer! Pretty decent turnout and an easy winner.

P&B's Most Influential Posters - 50-41

We'll start off with the minor placings. Exactly 10 posters all received 3 points, and all of them received those 3 points courtesy of a single "3rd place" vote. As such, these posters are all equal 41st have been ordered alphabetically for the write-ups.

=41. yoda

A poster who would probably have finished higher if the vote was "The 50 Best Posters on P&B". His reputation score of 2625 is amongst the very best on the site, and unlike some others this wasn't achieved by going "dot hunting". He also once gave me a lift from Dingwall to Inverness to save me getting the bus, making him (to the best of my knowledge) the only P&B poster whose car I have been in.

=41. SaintSam

Not a poster I'm particularly familiar with - she still posts sporadically, but her posting prime came before I was a regular poster on here. Her biggest "claim to fame" was being stalked relentlessly by creepy Clyde fan CTWD, who even went as far as trying to track her down at a St Johnstone v Clyde match. For that alone, she deserves a place in here.

=41. Poet of the Macabre

Claimed to have slept with Hayden Panettiere in a post in the NSFW Forum. There has been a lot of bullshit on P&B over the years, but that might have been the biggest and most brazen attempt.

=41. Philomena McCann

One of only two aliases to make it on to the list. A parody of the aunt of missing child Madeleine McCann, who was neglected by her parents while on holiday and "went missing" from their apartment. Another poster I don't remember much about - I didn't really follow the Maddy McCann threads on here and not many posts remain - but the fact that she is often referenced on "nostalgia" threads suggests she had a big impact at the time.

=41. Mr X

Moderator who is a regular poster in the "E-Chat Technology Forum", though I can't say I've seen him post a great deal elsewhere (presumably he also posts about Queen of the South). His posts in that forum have helped numerous people solve issues with their computers, phones, TVs etc.

=41. Monster

Doesn't post as much as he used to, but was a regular in General Nonsense when I signed up to P&B and seemed like a good guy (by Ayr fan standards). His mix of cynicism and humour fitted in very well on here.

=41. Linkin Fighter

Posts a lot in the "Misc Other Fitba" forum and is growing into a good poster on there. Needs to do something about that shite name.

=41. Kilgour11

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no recollection of this poster. Joined in January 2007 and posted nearly 2000 times between then and July 2008, at which point he seems to have been banned for posting porn. Had a glance through his last few posts and he seemed like a bit of a cock, but I could be wrong.

=41. DomDom

Another regular in "Misc Other Fitba", and I think he also posts a lot in the wrestling forum too. Can't think of any major "highlights" in his posting career, but a good poster nonetheless.

=41. Ad Lib

Slightly surpised he wasn't a bit higher. A poster who definitely knows how to get others riled, usually by taking laws and regulations literally and beating those who disagree with him into submission with a barrage of legalese. Perhaps his biggest highlight came in the thread about the guy who threw a ticketless passenger off a train because the conductor was a gutless shitebag. Our man Ad Lib came up with these two highlights amongst a series of cracking posts - "You can't possibly know that he hasn't picked up a bruise." "If they threatened to physically attack me, I would STRONGLY ADVISE them not to do so. If they threatened to physically attack a young lady across the aisle I would VERY STRONGLY ADVISE them not to do so and attempt to place myself between them."
