In the Premiership play-off, it was WRK vs Leeds Saint. Leeds Saint plumped for 1822, and WRK got it bang on the money. He even told me the name of the horse that won it (Diomed) ... what a hero. And in the SWL play-off, Slippery P went for 1874, and Dyl managed to misread the question and said 224 years. Now here's a question... King Ardashir I defeated Artabanus V at the Battle of Hormozdgān in Shushtar in the year 224, destroying the Parthian Empire and establishing the Sassanid dynasty, but there doesn't appear to be any mention of the Epsom Derby, so I would say give it to Slippery P.
