Programme on BBC Scotland about teuchter cops. About as boring as it sounds.

Relating to this post, but where has all this copaganda on tv came from? It seems that every channel has at least two or three cop programmes on every week. Tonight it’s some pish cop drama set in the north of Ireland on BBC One.

Watching this dramatisation of the Raoul Moat case. Don’t think they have the right actor for Moat - the guy playing him is too small, Moat was massive.

Just started watching this. Upon Googling the programme,  I've discovered the whole Gazza, chicken, fishing rod saga has been omitted. Gutted doesn't cover it

Kept seeing the show Jury Duty (Amazon) advertised everywhere so gave it a watch.

It was ok. Could have been much better. 5/10.

It's a mockumentary which follows a jury during a fake trial in America. Everyone involved is an actor apart from one member of the jury who thinks he's participating is some kind of 'behind the curtains' show where TV cameras can follow a jury through an entire trial. They put that guy in more and more daft situations and see how he reacts.

There was potential for a better show here if the comedy was more subtle and they actually made a believable trial. Instead the comedy was ott and the trial itself was poorly done.

The background to how they all ended up on the jury doesn't quite add up either. The non actor saw an ad looking for jury members for a tv show and applied. When he gets there, and they begin selecting the 12 jurors, a bunch of people including a famous actor (James Marsden) are trying to get excused. Why would this happen if they applied to be on the show? AND why would a famous actor apply to be on a minor tv show and then try to be excused. Wasnt explained very well.

Started watching Cunk on Britain. Hilarious.

The academics interviewed have clearly been told to keep a straight face, no matter how daft the question was. One woman almost cracked when asked "King Arthur. He came a lot, didn't he? Like, more than a teaspoon?"

Another tremendous episode of Race Across The World tonight.

Gutted that it’s almost over but see they’re taking applications for season 4 - any fellow P&Bers fancy the adventure? 😂

Just caught up with Wednesday’s episode.

The writing was on the wall for Kevin and Claudia early on by the amount they were spending on taxis etc.; shame they didn’t make it to the end, all the same.

Halfway though Irvine Welsh's Crime on the STV Player, very good so far, deviates quite a bit from the book but still enjoyable. Dougray Scott is excellent as Ray Lennox.

Enjoying it as well. The scene with Jamie Sives taking the piss out the lawyer is excellent.

I'm enjoying this too despite frustration at the apparent lack of any competent policing procedure. They had a partial registration number for the suspect van after 10 mins of episode 1 but it wasn't until episode 4 that they did anything about it. Also, they were very interested in whether the missing girl or her mother had a boyfriend but excluded the older sister from that line of investigation. Quite ironic given one character Lennox interviewed asked him to read through his proposed crime novel for realism but maybe that was a subtle joke.

Not an issue as I was never in anyways.

But what's this??? Semi Finals?  FFS!!  With no decent tv, the BBC dragging the arse out of the pish they do have to broadcast.
