Who knows if he's actually any good though.

Tim Dreesen looked amazing in Youtube footage and the third clip of this guy has him barely sclaffing a clearance away - that is meant to be a highlight to sell his ability.

He looks quick enough relative to everyone else and reads the game, but the Scottish game is a lot quicker than that and probably a fair bit different to his recent spell in Kazakh football.

Exactly what we've been crying out for. Badly missed Jim in midfield on Saturday.

Better late than never but can't help but wonder why the hell it's taken so long.

Goodwin is far too slow for midfield, his best position is centre half for the team now.

The Bulgarian should play at centre half with Goodwin with Osbourne as the holding midfielder.

Sadlier must start on Saturday, release the Sadlier!!!

Aye, but when Ozzy's out, as he is often, we're far too powderpuff and lightweight in central midfield. You don't need a lot of pace to be an effective holding midfielder.

No you don't need a lot of pace to play holding midfielder but good Goodwin is finished in that position, he was too slow and was constantly getting caught out hence the reason he would pick up so many yellow cards, he's now settled at centre half and should stay there.

Goodwin was playing midfield on Saturday was he not?? The game totally passed him by as well, completely finished in midfield.

Looks like a no-nonsense, left-footed centre-back to play alongside McAusland.

And he has the best Youtube reel I've ever seen for a footballer. He's only 26 but you'd think some of the footage comes from Spain 82.

And the guitar licks! Amazing video

That's us gubbed then, the better the youtube video the shittier the player is.

I don't even care and I'm assuming most Saints fans don't care if he turns out to be crap. This is only our 2nd centre back signing in something like 3 years. He'll get a heroes welcome on Saturday.

Did McAusland not go off injured against Aberdeen? Maybe that prompted the signing.

It's pretty shocking that it takes Cheesy to get injured to force our hand. Especially considering how inconsistent he can be. He's had a few stormers in his time, like against Thistle this season, but a lot of the time he's just a bit shit. Having a bit of competition for positions or even the ability to sub him if he's having a poor game would make a huge difference.

f**k knows why we keep neglecting centre half.
