williemillersmoustache
If he knew he needed a hernia op, he's had all summer to get it. That's a fair point.

lubo_blaha
McGinn off to South Korea then. 68 goals in 5 seasons is very good and he's one of the best we've had this century. He was exceptional in an underperforming side in his first season and was always a key man as the team improved in the next few years. As they both turn 30, it's been great to have him and Hayes for 5 years in their prime. End of an era (but not a cycle).

paddymcp
Aberdeen linked with Kari Arnason. Would be a tremendous signing - was superb at the Euros.

RussellAnderson
Farewell McGinn. Korea is an incredible place, so fair play to him for putting lifestyle ahead of so-called prestige. If it's a choice between Seoul and Wigan I know where I'd be moving. Farewell sweet prince, you'd be welcome back at any time [emoji173]️
DrewDon
I wonder if this is a potential setback in our pursuit of May, with Neil having been a teammate of his at Hamilton.
Widge
I wonder if this is a potential setback in our pursuit of May, with Neil having been a teammate of his at Hamilton. More than a team mate, he's was the manager when he scored 25+ goals at Hamilton. I'd say there's a very good chance if Neil is the new Preston manager, he'll want to keep May around at least for 6 months.

As in, whenever Niall McGinn played v Dundee, we Won. Seriously, he scored ten goals against the Dees. No wonder they're so rattled by him.

williemillersmoustache
I'd be fucking ecstatic if we signed Kari Arnasson, think that's maybe a bit optimistic though. Best of luck to Niall, for a long period of time he was what kept us going and we'll always have that penalty against the Dees, a real JFK moment.
RussellAnderson
Do you reckon he was going to take the fifth penalty in the ICT Cup Final shoot-out, had it been necessary? Robbed of history because Tansey is shite at pens IMO.
