How good was this documentary about Gothenburg greats. The background music was fantastic too

Very well put together - and emotional for various reasons.  Huge credit to BBC Scotland for this.

Says on Transfermarket that Giorgi Chakvetadze contract expires on June 30th, 2023.

Not sure where the 5 million has come from. He was once valued at 9 million Euros back in 2018.

He's had 15 caps (could be youth) for his country scoring 7 goals. Seems an interesting player to be linked with.

Just watched the Gothenburg documentary on catch up. Well before my time, but what a team Sir Alex built up.

Really good watch, and makes the younger generation like myself appreciate the history of Scottish football.

Loved the interview with Sir Alex after beating Rangers in the Scottish cup final….he was fizzing!

This pretty much took up half of last nights dinner....with a pretty pished Willie Miller taking all the credit for winning the cup on his own.  A superb night with all players there (apart from Cooper obviously)  Peter Martin was a brilliantly funny host and it was so clear that all the players were having one of the best nights out they have ever had.

I posted these in "Photographic History of Scottish Football"....both programmes I bought the day before the game....One I got signed by Alex Ferguson and Alfredo Di stefano as I interupted them having a chat outside the ground.  The other (white one) I got signed last night by McLeish and Black ...spoke to others but forgot to ask them to sign

It was a good but someone somewhere got mixed when they introduced the semi final match as:

Aberdeen vs Waterschei Beveren

...it was, of course, Thor Waterschei we beat. We played Beveren the following season but Beveren is about 60 miles away from Genk (where Waterschei was based), with no connection to Beveren.

It's like calling us Aberdeen Dundee.

An enjoyable ceremony today, though I don't think Strachan was the only one who thought it went on 20 mins too long.  I thought the highlight might have been Dougie Bell getting his medal, he was clearly very emotional.

A weird incident with that lady having to be escorted out after twice interrupting the speeches - I presume drink had been taken?

I absolutely loved the ceremony at Pittodrie today. Really emotional at times and humorous at other times. Not sure that every player has ever been together in the same place ever before since they stopped playing. Fabulous experience.

She was actually standing behind us when we were hanging about the main door earlier. She was listening to Queen - We are the champions on her phone full volume while singing along to it. If think it was the person with her she kept going on to him how it was a football song.

seen else where she was showing a photo of Freddy to Willie.

Definitely not drink. Just someone a bit out there
