isyyan
We are not at full strength, there are 3 or 4 still injured and Sam is not back yet. But that is what you have a squad for, opportunities for people to show what they can do. Very true. Good luck

TTF
Managed to get along to Haddington Tranent Tranent went ahead after 8 mins from a shot that the keeper should have held but tranent right mid done well to follow it in and tuck it away Haddington had more of the ball but fair play to tranent they worked hard and never gave them a minutes peace Just as it looked they'd see the half out poor play from the Tranent striker gifted Haddington the ball at the half way line and within seconds they had worked the ball forward and ferguson scored from edge of the box Tranent keeper took a hit on the head and never came out for 2nd half .with no sub keeper ( joke at junior level ) Ross the captain went in goals Haddington scored about 5 mins after the restart with a header from the impressive Murray . Haddington missed few half chances but Tranent always looked like they could maybe nick something on the break Haddington were the better side but hats off to the boys at Tranent .theyve took some stick on this including from me but they all worked hard today and played well in stages Tansey from newtongrange on loan at hadd was impressive and for me finlayson of Tranent was superb in the middle of the park . Hope the Tranent keeper is ok and recovers quickly
number4
Rosyth 5 Livingstone 1 we had a few missing today and didn't play well the first half but better second half to grind a result out , some good players in the livvy team and don't think it will be long till they are winning games. It only ended up 2-1, HIHI will be happy to win like this when their performance is well below their usual and with a few injuries to key players. Tranent are a poor poor side and will struggle in most games.

number4
Tansey is a quality player, surprised he didn't make it at east fife and will run a few defences raggied in our league .
thesunnydunny
West Calder United. 1. Dunbar United. 1 Dunbar took the lead after 63 minutes with Jamie Burstow goal and West Calder equalised in 86 minutes through a Ross Fox penalty. Kevin Carter sent off for visitors and Lawrence Brown sent off for West Calder. Dunbar,s injuries problems continue to mount with Darryl Wilson suffering knee ligament damage and this compounded with recent ankle ligament damage for Ross Cowan and appendix operation for Gary McCormack make our management teams job even harder. Steven Tait played for part of the game after a recurrence of his ankle injury and Jamie Burstow made a welcome return from hamstring injuries. Haddington were a bit off the boil today but sign of a great team, when you're not at your best but still find a way to grind out the win. Still waiting to see a team that will pose a threat to haddington in the league. Cigars oot by Christmas I think.

McEwen6
Another local derby and another defeat for Tranent, although closer in scoreline than the previous matches it is still a defeat nevertheless. It will be interesting to see how the season pans out now. The managerial decision has been made and whether we agree with it or not we can only hope the best decision has been made and the team can move forward and start to produce better results on the field. Tranent should be a side who can attract players and the local talent pool has never been short.

Tranent should be a side who can attract players and the local talent pool has never been short. The main concern ,just now, is the lack of experience . Too many young players with little or no experience of junior football. Young Finlayson is a revelation and perhaps another of the same calibre would help. TTF
Thought tranent missed the boy orourke yesterday who plays in the middle . With the exception of finlayson he's the standout
