The point is that's shite that craven wee no voters like you come out with to avoid having to accept reality. Read the articles, every day in major UK newspapers its Scotland and Scottish people getting slated not just the SNP.

Spot on.

You know we could be independent by next month, with a majority at Holyrood and soon at WM too they could just declare UDI. But the hand wringers like many on here wouldn't stand for it.

We are in a nasty, winner takes all, fight to the death to control Scotland. We could win it forever next month by doing that, take a bit of flak for a wee while but we've got independence. Instead we will have to put up with years of this shite and may never get independence anyway.

If it was up to me Scotland would declare UDI on the morning of the 8th of May.

Dream on, if Labour get a drumming in England, you're f*cked too!

The attacks being made on the SNP are attacks being made on those of us who support the SNP.

They are being made by the same people who told us we should remain part of the UK and play a full and active role.

These attacks are no longer only being made by fringe groups or the extreme right wing press.

Whatever else you think of Cameron and Major could you seriously have envisaged such vitriolic and devicive language just a few months ago.

Commentators right across the media are now using terminology like 'the threat of the SNP' with impunity.

They are using it in a way to suggest that the likely high SNP representation in Westminster after 7May will be somehow undemocratic and underhand.

It won't be.

Every SNP MP who is elected will be elected democratically and in the face of unprecedented hostility from the media and other political parties.

Once the election is over, if the result goes as we hope, the influence of the media, the Tories and the Lib Dems will be negligible. But we should not forget the disdain that they have treated a huge section of the Scottish electorate with during this campaign.

True.

Like in 1979, 1983, 1987, 1992, 2010

Now if only there had been a way to stop that situation ever happening again....

How do you plan to spend the morning of 8th May Robert?

I reckon you'll draw the curtains, throw a union jack duvet over your head and watch endless reruns of The Iron Lady until the tears subside.
