Bizarre how race gets dragged in to these stats as a way of justifying a lust for being able to hoard murder weapons. No. Poor white people do not kill each other at nearly the same rate. The state I grew up in, West Virginia, is one of the top gun owning states. It is as poor as the Bronx, or Detroit, or Baltimore, or wherever else you want to mention. The crime rate is lower than the national average because the state is 95% white. Crime correlates with race at a much greater rate than with class. It's culture, not poverty that's the driving factor. Again, we are talking about the overall US murder rate, not these white mass shootings which are a small % of the murders in America. As the age of Miss America decreases so does the same murder rate. I put this down to the decrease in respect for bus drivers.
