That's roughly the level of work it would take to get a gun in the US if they were banned tomorrow. And as you all should know, guns aren't the only way to kill dozens if that's what you set out to do. Again, gun control would stop domestic violence and accidents, which are a huge percentage of shootings in America. A guy determined to be a mass murderer is going to be able to do it no matter what the laws. Most civilised countries have gun control laws to make this kind of thing harder to achieve. Obviously you can't guarantee it won't ever happen, but surely you have to make it as difficult as possible. Maybe uncomfortable driving through there being a "have" in about so much "have not". Quite a lot of the attackers join Telegram channels to discuss Isis and attacks etc. So he might have told someone if he was going to do it rather than having actively worked on a plan with help from Syria/Iraq.One of the attackers brothers has said that he wasn't a gun nut or even interested in them.
