Congratulations 'Rangers'

The press coverage of the Rangers "return" to the top league is cringeworthy. Oh yes, our game has been dead for 4 years. Aberdeen, Inverness, Ross County and St Johnstone have all won trophies in that time and Aberdeen have mounted two credible title challenges considering the gulf in resources between them and Celtic. Armageddon indeed.

The arrogance of Rangers is unreal. Why not be grateful your new outfit was allowed into the league structure in 2012 at all, admit that your club was recklessly managed financially for over 2 decades from the Souness era onwards, accept that it died as a result and perhaps have a bit of humility? Nope, as from next season, we're back to the same old rubbish and the TV companies will drop the sudden fascination they developed with whatever league Rangers happened to be in that week.

Let's also see how they get on against full timers every week after 4 years of playing against plumbers and bricklayers.

Another angry man spouting pish about Rangers.  Welcome to P&B, chappy.

This is glorious..... Shows Scotland up as a bigoted little backwater when all over the UK and beyond is reporting positively on our return to the top flight .. The difference in the national BBC report and BBC Scotland,s was evident...sky sports doing great pieces on our return , talk sport positive on our return.. Five live positive on our return. Everywhere apart from here ...

We have just spent two seasons in a league were 80 percent of the teams are full time , so your statement of us spending the last 4 years is not only incorrect but somewhat ignorant of the game , something us bears are usually accused of but here we have a bonafide diddy expressing some incredible ignorance

If you don't like it then no-one forces you to read it.

I don't mind reading em mate, it's a great forum, but it never ceases to amaze me, even after Rangers have been dragged through the gutter how much bitterness is still out there. Like a moth to flame people can't help themselves.

Can't think of any other Country/Sport/Club quite like it !?

Every single Rangers thread on here descends into this, even our match threads. Gotta love P&B!

True. There are repeat offenders though, and the Rangers fans in here have the option of putting those posters on ignore using the Ignore function in their user settings. Some of them seem to lap it up.
