I'd never heard of either of them before last night - thought it was 2 up and coming fighters, staggered to find it was a 37 year old jobber losing to a 39 year old jobber. kiddy Posted April 16, 2023 Share Posted April 16, 2023 Joyce has always been easy to hit. His ability to take a shot & outlast his opponents, is what made him dangerous. That southpaw Zhang’s left hand seemed to be attached to Joe’s eye, for the duration, with a piece of elastic. Highlighted that either they paid no attention to his opponent being left handed; or were unable to change tactic in between the rounds to negate the issue. By taking on such a dangerous fight, he’s just put himself further away from any prospective mandatory fight. Would either Usyk/Fury take him as a voluntary? He's the only boxer I can remember who due to inactivity of the big boys has seen his reputation grow to a dangerously high level (for himself).
