If Hamilton lose to killie on Saturday would we be mathematically safe from automatic  relagation?

Why would the Hamilton result matter? They're 9th.

If we pick up a single point, or Partick/Ross County fail to win every game, we're officially safe.

Post split

if Partick win all 5 they go above us

if county win 4 (lose to partick) they go above us

if Dundee win 3 (lose to partick and county) they go above us

if Hamilton beat killie on Saturday 2 wins post split would take them above us, if they lose Saturday we are safe?

So that's Kane out for the rest of the season, and it seems Johnstone has picked up a knee injury in training and he could be out for the season too. He went down in a crumpled heap with no one near him so sounds like it could be a serious one as well.

This is getting daft.

Just as well we're safe or we'd probably  be fucking shiteing it right now

Get your boots looked out Kyle, you can't be as bad as Denny.

So we are reduced to one ageing striker that plays most of the game with his back to goal these days, and very little in the way of support for him.

Where's that 'simulate match' option you get in Fifa career mode when you need it? Get this season tae feck and start rebuilding in the summer.

Time for David MacMillan to rise from the ashes like a Phoenix and score half a dozen before the end of the season, ending up as our top league goal scorer!

But seriously, I can’t remember a season like this for injuries. Can only hope that the trio of McMillan, Scougall and Easton are all back and get 2/3 games before the season ends. Just to show fans they still exist!

Hamilton away is going to be banter.

Hendry, McMillan, Kane, Johnstone - injured

Maclean - can't play on plastic pitches.

Braw.

f**k, hadn't even thought of that!

Levein tactics that day, 4-6-0

Even the two U20s strikers - Struthers and Robertson - are injured. So of the seven strikers on the books, six are injured and the one that is fit, can't play at Hamilton!

As said, if we weren't safe, we'd be pretty worried.

People can’t even say throw in the youngsters now. [emoji23]

I guess our options are pretty much Williams up top on his own for Hamilton. Unless someone makes a miracle recovery. After that it’ll be MacLean with support.

It’s getting obscene now and it’s not like they’re picking up injuries in training for the most part (Johnstone aside) our players are all picking up injuries whilst playing games and quite a few of them are total freak injuries which can be avoided (Scougall, McMillan). The rest are muscular and then there’s the Brian Easton anomaly.
