If Rangers don’t get to the group stages, it’s getting to the stage where, Europa League run aside, GVB has been a disaster for them. He had a disastrous January and from this window, so far it looks like only Tillmans and Colak are decent. He’s sold their 2 best players in Bassey and Aribo and hasn’t replaced McGregor even though he knew he was at the end of his career. Add to that the guys like Morelos, Kent, Jack, Roofe and Kamara who were very good for Gerrard in their league winning season, just are not performing for him and won’t sign contracts with him therefore reducing there value.

Last season he had to end up playing Aribo up front as he had no depth to the squad, now he’s frozen out Morelos, Roofe and Sakala he’s down to only Colak already. He doesn’t have his problems to seek and a lot of them seem down to him.

Lose on Wednesday then to Celtic in September (I think they’ll lose both) then he’s fucked.

GvB won't have a massive say in who's bought and sold tbh.

They’ve just confirmed that the talks are on hold. This whole episode will have seriously reduced the value of him to any potential suitors.

And the board of sevco are known for being sincere and truthful all the time.

Of course you are correct too.  Will also cut how much a club is willing to give him wage wise.  Much easier to now kick about for a year, leave on a free and pick up a massive sign on fee and wage next summer :)

Good luck Buff.

imagine unveiling that fat mess as a deadline day signing - it'd be a hard sell convincing a new set of fans that anything over a couple of mil was worth punting on him.

On form he would still easily be good enough for Celtic.

He would be a good signing for an English Championship side chasing promotion.

The best warrior is not the one that always triumphs.  It's the one that can wolf down two king rib suppers each night.

The last part might be a bit off.  My Spanish is a bit rusty.  Alredo sueno con perros.

If the furious bear rage on twatter is right and Tavernier held another player by the throat then they should both be suspended pending an investigation.  Even wee bampot nyaffs like Morel-Lols deserve to be safe in the workplace.

They still live in a world where Jock Wallace is some kind of bully demi-god that represents their "culture", whatever bigoted nonsense that means, so 'Tav' will be a hero throat-grabber to the hordes...

He has been injured for about half a year mind.

It was odd, I was lurking on Swallow Swallow and the fact that Fat Sam from Bugsy Malone was about ten stone overweight when he scored against St Johnstone didn't seem to prompt any discussion. He was fukin huge!!!

You would have still gotten the cash the end of this week, if not more cash as clubs become desperate for bodies and its risking the Champions League pot.

Surely with season ticket sales and the European run you werent that desperate for the money right away?  Aribo and Bassey without a doubt could have made the difference then sell.

Waiting till this week to bring in new players would have been foolish, we needed to bed them in as quickly as possible. Best to get the money in early and not gamble on CL qualification.

Players who are looking for a move have a tendency to hold back a bit as they don't want to get injured.
