Benjamin_Nevis
That particular criterion would not rule me out either I'm afraid. I'd maybe have appreciated it more, had I been part of a bigger crowd. "The Cliff" was terrific back in the 80s during the Dundee Derbies. We were generally crammed in there towards the top left beside the fence. One of my first derbies was there in late 87. The enclosure was packed and Tommy Coyne scored in 2 mins. Absolute bedlam/scenes ensued.
HibeeJibee
Did I read somewhere that part of the existing stand seating deck is being incorporated into the new stand? Is that correct and if so what bit: none of it looks steep enough to match in.
Neiljb
No. The whole thing is being ripped out. The new stand will be very similar to the other three.
Arch Stanton
Will Tynecastle's new capacity be more or less than 20,421?
Stellaboz
It'll be exactly that number.
microdave
How does it work? Do they build the exterior etc and do prep work for the seating area and then demolish the current stand at the end of the season?

Flybhoy
The old bubble cars for the disabled that used to sit around the perimeter of the pitch of many grounds in the 60's & 70's seen here at a Celtic v Arbroath match from 1972

Elixir
It'll hold 322 less seats than Easter Road - truly something for Hibs fans to hold over us.
