He's also roaring and greeting about the Scottish media being too negative and that "no one died on Saturday"

Plenty of people on here say the same thing especially in the premiership forum, again not seeing the problem?

He's trying to deflect away from the fact sevco played and are shite

Never heard the interview so I don't know the context but it is a common complaint on the premiership forum about negativity in the media.

Davie it was mock executions, no ifs, no buts.

What our fans got up to has been mentioned on here and in the media, no one has swept it aside. It really can't be defended, same with what the Celtic fans groups got up to.

Apart from Rangers and Club1872 who swept it right under the carpet.

Certainly seems as though Warburton is struggling to cope now it's not all going his way.

ETA:

I agree that the media are overly negative in relation to the Scottish game, however if he cannot see why there is a negative reaction to his side drawing at Kilmarnock and then taking an almighty pumping from Celtic then he has no idea what the job at Ibrox entails.

For saying that the media are negative?

All about context.

The Scottish game is not as bad as the media portray it.

Rangers, with the second biggest wage bill in the country, drawing away to a Kilmarnock team who are amongst the relegation favourites then taking a 5-1 tanking away to their perceived rivals, should absolutely expect criticism for those results.

The points are not exclusive and Warburton seems to be confusing one for the other.

Pretty much this.

You can't claim that there is no major gulf between Celtic and Rangers one minute, then throw the toys out of the pram the next whenever you are criticised for your teams performances.

Just watched it on YouTube and not seeing what the fuss is, he answered honestly and seemed bemused by it all.

We've played five games, bedded in a lot of new players to the Scottish game, others are stepping up a level and we're sitting third.

Obviously Scottish fitba fans are going to pretend to be outraged by this and it's not worth responding to again.
