I'm sure we'll still be in a battle for 8th or 9th but McCall was always going to find his feet in this league.
munro7
Still think we need to stop shoehorning Cairney into the team. He's a complete passenger just now and it's not helping him or the team.Defence looks that wee but more solid now which is good.

Not sure he's shoehorning Cairney in, I think he's limited to who is effective in left mid and hoping Cairney will be that man, which he won't. The Moonster
Ayr fans have now gone full circle. From being play-off contenders to relegation certainties back to play-off contenders. We've not seen the likes since Cowdenbeath.

Ulises de la Cruz
Not too bothered by this result tbh. In control of the game before the sending off. Ayr done well to take advantage of the extra man. Big game next week against Qots.

Alan Stubbs
Blessing in disguise, imo Right noises coming out of the club about guarding against complacency but saw the opposite today. Bartley has cost us three points but it was still a total training game type performance until then. Staying with 4-3-2 at 1-0 and ten men reeks of underestimating our opponents as well. We were never going to win ever game and this won't be our last slip up either. Want to see us step it a few gears though. We've got way more quality than we've shown recently, including in the games we've been winning. Finger oot Hibs.
