It will be interesting to find out if Papadopoulos's trips to Moscow which were encouraged by high level campaign staffers were paid for by Trump. He can just about get away with pardoning Sheriff Joe by saying the guy was doing his best - illegally detaining brown people isn't much of a problem to the Republicans - he's just made these potential pardons way harder to justify.
