Everyone knows the Tories are shysters and crooks. Loads of their voters are perfectly happy with it. It's not the same with the SNP and Sturgeon etc have consciously traded on their clean-cut image.

A former Tory pal, who was Tory at the time, said that if Michelle Thomson had been Tory her sharp business practices wouldn't have caused her any trouble at all. Political opponents would have been vocal about it for 5 minutes and it would have been done.

I know enough English (and Welsh) people who support their local team and a traditional top six Barclays team for it to feel like it's a thing they do down south. I guess it makes more sense given the size of the English leagues and the way the big dogs are slowly but surely turning themselves into franchises. Baffling when you've had Falkirk and Rangers in the same divisions in recent memory to support both sides. Does Dawson cheer when both teams score?

If you played the Modern Warfare 2019 campaign then the mission at the embassy with the drones and directing the embassy staff via the cameras is directly based on Benghazi.

Tweeted it every day til his death and kept going in the afterlife!

There's probably an argument that could be made that plenty of people can and will accept the SNP being crooked if they deliver independence but the media landscape and self-perception of the party won't let it fly for a lot of people the same way it does with the Tories.

Ahhh yeah I remember that one. Hated it.

Hopefully they do the storming of the Capitol in the next one, defending against hoards of MAGA lunatics.

You actually storm the Capitol in MW2 which is really funny in hindsight.

Aha so you do. I played that not too long ago too! Was sent at the idea one of the missions you had to protect a Burger King.

Being against independence because you don't like Alex Salmond is like being in favour if independence because you don't like Queen Anne.

It's fucking mind-melting to think that there might be a substantial number of people who base their opinion on independence on what the SNP happen to be doing on any given day.

Also weird when people of either persuasion use terms like "momentum for independence has gone", when the momentum has been building for decades. It might not come as fast as people might like, but it's clearly on the way.

That it's Keith David yelling at you to defend Burger Town makes it that bit funnier as well.

God the storyline for those games were so dumb but so good.

Loads of people made their mind up before the 1st referendum because of the way that Alex Salmond looked, or how Nicola Sturgeon talked.

Never under-estimate the pathetic shallowness of your average voter.

Oh God, we could be here all night.

This is why I prefer to reserve my social media reading to that great bastion of common sense and decency, Pie & Bovril.

The Express running a Savanta Comres poll showing 49 yes 51 no. Might be a regurgitation of yesterday but thought it best to highlight.

Be a bit strange for Savanna Comres to be running two, three? Seperate polls  on and In the field over the same time frame.

It is to be expected that the likes of the Express, Daily Mail,BBC and all the tory rags will run with anti SNP/Independence headline propaganda in the run up to the May election, it will get wilder and crazier with lurid character assassinations and outright lies.

When there were a number of polls consistently showing support for Independence the coverage from the MSM was reasonable but the reaction was limited.

Now there’s one or two showing support below 50% there seems a fair bit more coverage and even greater “support for independence falls” headlines.

Hardly surprising, considering the civil war currently raging within the SNP.

Any news editor would be salivating at such a story.
