Not too bad us not playing would imagine we had a training game or training today gives Chapman plenty time to prepare for Berwick

That's probably the case but I would rather Chapman was out scouting for a centre half and a midfielder today.

The fact that EP has attracted so many personal snipers must mean he is doing something right.

He is always outspoken and opinionated, don't always agree with what he says but that's the whole point of a forum. Just wonder why some are so keen to silence that.

Often wonder how many on this forum are actually Clyde fans or just trolling emoji16.png

A lot of Clyde fans look like trolls. If you've ever had EP pointed out to you then you would understand.

So how do you think you will do this season is promotion possible

We won't win the league with present squad play offs are certainly doable
When it gets to play offs anything possible, important we start season well league cup was pretty reasonable for us for me defence is a worry

That's the thing though, absolutely nothing can be taken for granted. Last season's mob looked mighty promising yet nearly got us cast out the league, so whilst unlikely it isn't entirely unfeasible this year's squad could go all the way. I'd still like to see a few additional players brought in pretty soon though.

Play-offs are an absolute minimal achievement in any given campaign. A decent cup run wouldn't go amiss either. Let's get this party started already!

Agree that top end of table is minimal target, also minimal is at least 2 additional players who know what they are all about..Centre Half who can organise and put his head and foot in where it matters and a midfield player who either puts his foot on the ball and creates or in a mobile ball winner who gets about the park and protects. If we can't find  / afford them it's a mid table or avoid bottom place scrap job.

Exactly!

Is nit-picking John Alexander, the proposed name change, Broadwood stadium or all the other golden oldies gonna get us out the league?

No, it's the product on the park. Whilst last year's was clearly dross, it had nothing to do with the aforementioned factors. Time to let by gone's be just that and start looking forward, otherwise we are never getting out of this situation.

C'mon the Bully Wee, c'mon the Clyde!

But we have to learn from the mistakes or else you just keep repeating them over and over again

Agree we have to look forward only way we will progress is increasing finance which will improve the standard of player on the park and finance a good youth system
The fans have again dug deep this season , but there is a glass ceiling on that money , we need to get in external money not easy but essential if we are to progress

Only thing left for me to avoid trying things over and over.

Send the new chairman over to convince Red Bull that we should join their stable of clubs.

Selling points are it will cost a fraction of Salzburg, Leipzig or NY and you get massive publicity for beating the Old Firm in 5 years time.

Sorted
