I don't see why we can't put in place an agreement similar to Kenny McLean's and promise him a move should any materialise over a certain value. I'd be looking for over £250,000 as well. Championship clubs down south are coming into even further amounts of ridiculous money with this new TV deal. I'd hope we don't sell him for a pittance. Two games for Scotland's U21s - two MotM awards - the second against Holland U21s. Looking by a country mile the best player in the division. He's strong, fast, skillful, can create and score goals. Also has first class attitude and workrate. In the current crazy market I'd be astonished (and disappointed) if the figure is anywhere near £250k.

That's a massive, massive game for Lewis and St Mirren. England u-21s are at a very high level (as are the Dutch, in fairness) and a strong performance from Morgan could see him catch the eye of a lot of big clubs. Imagine getting him on a longer deal before that game... (Just seen it's on at the Riverside in M'boro on a Friday night, just down the road from me. Might try to head down if I can.)

sam2304
Saints fans, how have the 2 Ross Stewart's been doing for you guys so far?
Stevie88
Outfield Ross Stewart hasn't done much tbh, Jack did say he's one for the future so hopefully he can push on and make the break through. Keeper Ross Stewart has done ok when given his chance. He will play number 2 to Samson but hasn't done much wrong when he's played... probably needs a run of games but doubt he'll get that this season.

I though we would miss outfield Ross more than goalkeeper Ross, we seem to have better striking options this season in Trouten and Shields.

RS the striker has impressed me so far. Has done very well against "lesser" opposition, and any time he's been brought on in the championship he's cause defences problems. With our management teams guidance he will develop into a very accomplished player. RS the Goalie has been pretty solid. Haven't seen enough of him to make any real judgement yet.

djchapsticks
Ross Stewart (forward) has been OK. He's got a lot of work to do in terms of his technique but his positioning is excellent. Seems to come in for a lot of stick though as he's quite unorthodox and looks awkward in his style. There's plenty of promise there though.

I see a player in there fans need to give the lad time.

Lappin used to get dogs abuse and was actually very decent!

Stu
Disappointing none of our own youngsters is deemed capable of stepping up to fill in when we're so short. Thought Whyte was meant to be able to play centrally despite Ross deciding he's a fullback.
