Maybe they'll have a reserve list. I imagine attrition rate will be high.

Pity

I don't think that was one of the required competencies.

Had an all company email sent with picture to enquire if anyone hase left their cap on an engine. Its clearly from a depot down south as now got a sequence of folk from crewe making in-jokes about who's cap it could be and the thoughts the cap could be having about being found by said person.

All sent to the whole UK wide company alongside urgent or safety critical emails.

A colleague had sent out an email a while back that required all the addressees to respond by a certain date. One hadn't.

Her excuse? "You sent it out on a Friday. I only work part time and that's not one of my days..."

What the actual f**k.

I'm not sure I'm getting this. Was she supposed to reply on her days off?

No, she was expected to reply on her return to work, and not totally ignore anything sent whilst she was off.

Ah, got it. I thought the outrage was because she wasn't replying to emails on her days off!

Have we had any more from ICTChris recently on that lad that was utterly ripping the pish out of him?

There hasn't been any more instances of skullduggery from him.  I've also been on leave for a bit this month and working different hours to him.

I spoke too soon.  My colleague had been working on something yesterday, it broke again overnight and when he was asked to pick it up again this morning he said that he wouldn't be.  When it was pointed out to him that he should be picking it up he went with "haha I know i was only joking".  Great banter m9.

I just picked it up for him and within 5 minutes I have fixed it*.

*I may not have fixed it and may, in fact, have made things worse.

Big Mag'ret fae Royston likes her wee afternoon shift working the tills and she doesn't want it to change.

Wal*Mart will be absolutely rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of what they'll be able to do to their workers in a few months' time.
