If Adeloye stays then we’ve still got a solid base to build on. Hoping that because the club have put out a right downer of a tweet this morning then they can cheer us up later. Will be so disappointing when they announce Kirk Bigotfoot later to try cheer us up
Superhursty7
Means we are looking for another starter every week instead of a back up, wonder if Cammy Smith could come back in to the thinking?

He was at the mercy of his parent club in January. Now he is a free transfer, looks like you are the ones being ditched mate

Speaking of getting away from diddie mobs, that's the sun reporting Adeloye is set to leave Ayr.

I get that it upset you greatly that he walked out on you in the middle of your best season in very short existence but it’s literally there in writing that he had the choice about where he wanted to play.

I doubt that is actually the case here though - I’m sure he has something decent lined up and will do well! I imagine all will be unveiled soon... That's if they have a myriad of options, what if the options are all a much of muchness? Ayr aren't going to pay him life changing money, you've got Raith with his ex manager right next to him who would offer him similar wages, any team from the Glasgow area (Partick, QP, Hamilton) are all closer and could offer as much/more. Why would either commute further, or move his family and away from friends for a wage he could get closer? If Raith were in for a player who lived in Prestwick would you find it hilarious if he signed for Ayr? Football fans are weird.

Talk about completely missing the point - I obviously wasn’t talking about him relocating to Ayr

Been quite enjoyable being involved in a promotion battle the last few seasons albeit unable to make the final step. Obviously you won’t know that feeling. By the sounds of it, your best players are not renewing their contracts so guessing another relegation battle looms -
Thumper
The notion that McInroy turned it down because he just can't bear to leave Fife is ludicrous. There were already reports that there was no way he'd get the same salary from Ayr on a new contract, which is massively more likely to be the correct answer. I fully expect Adeloye to be away now as well. So there had better be some strikers getting looked at. f**k knows what Moffat is playing at.

Airdrie fans really are the gift that keeps on giving.
