Does our management team see something in McAllister or is his versatility the thing that got him a new deal ? Who knows next season is the one Brown is judged on. Offering contract extensions to people who we think need to leave is a big call. Browns challenge is fast challenge approaching the signing policy has to be good or like what seems like an endless run of mangers he can f#ck off. Scott-ish
Raith have shown that you only need to be slightly less howling than the rest of the teams in the league to be have a chance of promotion. Few decent signings and we can be up there next year.
Coollestersmoothe
You barely need to be competent to do ok in this league. See Raith this season and us last season. Hopefully next seasons focus is on recruiting proven quality at this level instead of punts from down south.

A lack of depth and quality has meant very few outstanding sides and most teams able to beat one another. Don't see things changing too much next season and another open league. It will only take a few decent signings to push us up a good few places.
AyrExile
A win and a draw from the next two games will see us safe. Not quite a formality as Morton are one of the teams we haven't played well against. We seem to have tightened up so hopefully can avoid being pushed about and leaking silly goals. Whilst four points will be enough it may take a few weeks of teams throat cutting until safety is confirmed.

Whilst four points will be enough it may take a few weeks of teams throat cutting until safety is confirmed. If we win vs Arbroath and draw vs Morton (most likely outcome) we'll have 42 points. If Queens beat Inverness next week QP will be on 41 and Inverness on 35. If Inverness lose vs Raith on Friday 19th we'd be safe. Only difference between this and what I said earlier is that if we won both games Inverness would have to win vs Raith to overtake us, while if we got 4 from 6 a draw vs Raith would put them 6 behind us with 2 for Inverness to play. We'd have to get at least a point at Tannadice the next day to confirm safety.
Pick that one out Marshall
Watched the stream. Both teams gash, daft penalty given away. Could have got a point but again zero.
Thumper
Genuinely wish Scott Brown would shut the f**k up about the wind. You'd think wind was a new phenomenon or something. 2 hours ago, ryanayr1987 said: Aye let’s get this done asap and get on with a massive rebuild Will this be the season that Ayr sign a single fullback after having actually see him play first? Rb123
At least we're consistently inconsistent
Ayrmail
We defended well in the first half for 45 mins Dempsey and McHugh where stopping their wingers coming inside freely, 3min after McHugh going off we lose a goal from exactly that. It was a lottery in the wind, few more shots in the second half and it may have been different.
