QP away, Friday night game on BBC.

Remember being at that game vividly. I always thought that was the game when the wheels came off for Bullen and we went on a downhill slope never to pick up any real form after.

When was the last time we signed someone based off their performance as a trialist?

Think it might be Jamie Adams.

Vaguely rember Alan Main playing 3 league games for us a trialist at one point.

ETA - Just checked and he is our oldest ever player. Step aside Drunken Carmichael.

Sure Ross Caldwell also played as a trialist for us at the same time. A 0-0 draw against Hibs was the first time we saw Adams.

After vat it's about 100k (averaging £14 a ticket - £20 highest and £8 lowest) before match day expenses.

Food and drink to add on, plus hospitality and takings from the bar at the hub.

I think Celtic are either taking no fee or basically nothing.

For a pre season match it's a decent enough earner, funds a player or two for the year.

But but but, The Somerset Road End

Replace the SRE with a green space like Partick Thistle.

It will be turned into a green space tomorrow night

Tbh, I've always felt the appeal of the Somerset Road End is a bit overplayed.

If there were more terraces left at our level of football, then I don't think it would be discussed in the same way as it is. Its a relatively poor terrace for views, you have to be right up the back to get any kind of decent sightlines of the other end of the pitch.

If it were at all possible, I'd love to see us build something steeper, although, the space is limited. All hypothetical of course, but something like this would be decent.

I seen the ragazzi banner was still up in the back of SRE last weekend, will the club be taking it down or covering it before it is trashed tomorrow?
