Starmer announces Great British Energy company to be formed and based in Scotland with thousands of jobs.

Anyone up for a charity bet that this gets rowed back on if/when labour gets elected ?

Go on now, you know you want to...

It's vague bullshit - when he was asked about specifics he didn't answer the questions.

Typical clickbait tagline in the tweet but a decent argument in the clip.

As the thread title suggests: what, indeed, is the point of Labour?

Ah, but, you see, they're absolutely definitely not sending them specifically to Rwanda! Gotcha!

That's the real issue that ordinary decent people have with this policy, as they keep telling us on the doorsteps.

Wonder if Syria are up for taking in any refugees from...erm...

I believe it was a Labour govt, under Blair, that first considered sendling ayslum seekers/ migrants to another country. Not sure if it was specifically Rwanda.

Anyway, gives the Red Tories a chance to say they've scrapped the policy while actually sticking with the right-wing ethos behind it.

Notice on one of the candidates social media there's the usual pledges, with Number 2 being "cut NHS waiting times" - I thought the NHS was devolved so how does that work (other than throwing more money at it)? And number 6 is "Maximise Scotland's influence" - what exactly does that mean, like how much influence would Scotland be getting on a scale of current situation to total control of the UK decisions?

Can't wait for the cries of he must resign as the Fm of Wales loses the no confidence vote

Rachel Reeves wanted a Holyrood Election after the VonC that brought down Yousaf.

She and Starmer said that losing a VonC meant that a FM MUST stand down, as did Sarwar and Baillie.

Starmer is - hilariously - backing Vaughan Gething today, and there will be silence from the other 3.

Labour are hypocrites.

Four weeks today until SIR KEIR STARMER KC PM 🙂

You can argue the results won't be known till the Friday but the 10pm exit poll will throw the towel in for the tories

But you can argue that it's nothing to go all big letters and happy emojis about.

Don’t worry, the MSM will pick up on this and expose the hypocrisy.

Yeah but it's a formulaic response when a PM/FM resigns (from all parties) and no-one actually it expects it to happen.
