Tam Cowan came across as incredibly childish in the interview, Stuart Cosgrove was asking interesting questions whereas he took it upon himself to just throw in petulant jibes. Craig Whyte is ripe for ridicule but Tam Cowan clearly isn't funny enough to do it well. He seemed aggrieved at any slight of 'Sir David Murray'

Cowan used to be excellent for taking shots at the OF, but since 2012, he's just become an apologist for the blue half.

At least Cosgrove likes to get a dig in now again about no old firm anymore, Cowan definitely comes across as being scared to have any dig at it ever.

I haven’t heard anything of today’s programmes myself , but maybe Tam was very conscious (either off his own bat or by order from above) of the recent controversy involving Michael Stewart , Jim Traynor and Sportsound.  Could be the case that if Whyte was having a go at Murray he felt obliged to stick up for Murray in some way to provide some sort of balance , which I think was mentioned in the official Sportsound apology after Michael Stewart’s comments.

Hang on a minute. A thick slob of a Motherwell fan with his tongue up the arse of Ibrox, no doubt for attention seeking purposes?

Sounds familiar.

When OTB had their anniversary celebration etc programme did they acknowledge their debt to the football fanzines ?

For example '' The Absolute Game ''

with Graeme Souness' 10 worst tackles ( everyone will know the top 3 )

Come on people. What were Souness' 3 worst assaults , I mean tackles

Cowan has always played the 'just a fan' angle on Rangers\Sevco\EBT and so on. No surprise that he is basically a card carrying member of the Daily Record angle, the paper he has written for over years. The Sainted David near untouchable, Craig Whyte did it in the sitting room with a Ticketus loan. Rangers, utterly bankrupt and on the edge would have survived if it wasnt for Craig.

His perception of 2012 and what lead to it ranks alongside his idea that Sydney Devine is the peak of Western civilisation.

After years of slaughtering Sevco for not paying tax and other bills under whyte, isn't strange that the bbc suddenly start brown nosing him....

Back in your box, dingull.

Whyte is promoting a book. He wasnt even on the main prog, just OTB in a pre recorded Q&A - then Tam "Motherwell fan" Cowan got all upset about Whyte appearing disingenuous and unbelievable.

The same Tam Cowan who was crying into his sash on the radio after our heroes put your tramps to the sword on 21st May 2016.

Cosgrove was one of the main protagonists when it came to attacking Whyte's actions tho, does seem to be a tad hypocritical....

Yawn

I (and all of Scottish football outside of your mob and Celtic fans) dont care about the minutiae.

Spoiler

The facts are that Rangers used questionable EBTs to avoid paying tax on players they basically couldnt afford and went on to win many trophies in the process - ergo, cheating.

The taxman caught up with them and they were liquidated.

Subsequently some balloons bought the assets and a new club arrived on the scene and has been run / owned by a variety of shysters / liars / proto-criminals which continues to give the rest of us some amusement.

That people like David Murray appear to have got away scot free is actually the biggest scandal and demonstrates that the "Scottish Establishment" looks after its own.

Outside of that, I dont really care.

In no particular order , one at Ibrox on a Steau Bucharest player.

And two playing for Scotland..... one at Hampden on Peter Nicholas of Wales, the other away to Iceland on Siggi Johansen , I think
