peasy23
FP2 scheduled to start at 10am, which is 2am in Vegas. It's set to run for 90 minutes and quite a few of the roads must be reopened by 4 am.
Boo Khaki
Well knock me down with a feather. Who could have guessed that F1 running in Vegas would turn out to be a complete and utter shambles?

Didn't the FIA/Stewards wave any punishments when it happened to Russell in the Williams in Baku a few years back?

Having to change engines because the track is inadequate? Tough shit.
JamesP_81
That's ridiculous , I wouldn't even have thought that would have been up for debate! Also did I just hear right , the fans were actually told they couldn't stay to watch FP2 rather than them just not turning up at 2am ? F1 bosses sure know how to make an absolute dogs dinner of the sport .

Sherrif John Bunnell
This seems like the most poorly organised GP since the days of joke venues like India and South Korea. Ross Brawn admitted recently that F1 had no idea how cold Las Vegas gets at night.

Who in the right mind would sit outside in the cold at two thirty am to watch anything? That's mental. ETA just read that the stands were shut because all the stewards were finished their shift Edited November 17, 2023 by Todd_is_God
vikingTON
It's almost as if letting a bunch of Americans run a competition that isn't contained to their own weirdo continent in the first place was an obviously fucking terrible idea. Bring back (very, very) old tax dodger Bernie and the Nazi fetishist Mosley.
