Lex
Wouldn’t it be a great laugh if our youth team got deep into this monkey tennis tournament.Might head along to the next one if we get a decent draw. -

Could barely get interested when we made the final a couple of years ago. Would be a good laugh though. -

scottishchallengecupreform
This is a great tournament, I even like the great idea of small scale sponsors like Irn Bru and Biscuit companies. There is no point in having a wish Coca Cola, or Microsoft are going to sponsor a Lower league Cup. The only changes that should be made are to not have the English National League, and Republic of Ireland teams in the competition. The republic is so far away and play Summer football, and the standard is too good, and England is big enough to be obsessed with it's own teams. Whereas the Welsh League and Northern Irish teams are playing against a higher standard than their own leagues, when playing the best teams, so actually care about the trophy. So their interest, helps add some spice to the competition. (Connahs Quay's record attendance ever is against Edinburgh City in the competition, while Bohemians could not be bothered to care about their games) Maybe there could be one off seasons, of a Shetland, or Orkney, or Manx or Hebridean select or inviting English league teams what their ground o actually may want to play in the competition, Surely Blythe, Carlisle, and Gateshead may be interested as they are so close to Scotland. Plus one more one off, a Corby, team as of their Scottish links. Plus Truro as a one off, as it is Celtic place. Other than that, the Colts are OK, as anything that the experts say helps bring on young talent should be a priority for the league and cups. So to keep the tourney going it would be best to not have the Republic of Ireland, and National league teams. It was a great idea to have them, but they just are not interested enough, so it is a waste of time. But keep the Welsh league and Norn Irish, as they in most cases are bothered. -
bullyweehutch
f**k the colts, stick them up their arse. Just a way of them normalising playing against them so Rangers and Celtic can have their colts in the league set up. f**k them, f**k the old firm and f**k the SFA. I can deal with the foreign teams maybe
Chapelhall chap
I never got any Tunnocks stuff but I did see a win over quite a good footballing side and had an excellent curry. I am now a fan of this format but will miss the next round since I never thought we would go this far. Good goals from Gallagher and an error seized upon by the other Calum.

I find it amusing that our young lads have dispatched 3 senior sides in the last 3 rounds without conceding a goal. I don't agree with the principle of colt sides in the cup - not even a wee bit - but as long as it's happening and we are, I'm delighted every time a team of our young lads pump out sides filled with 'good honest pros' like Kyle Hutton, Stuart Carswell and Darryl Duffy.

Cheers for the link. Connah Quay are a bunch of cloggers with a good defence. Cove very good and had the bulk of possession although despite hitting the post they did not make the Welsh keeper make a save. Cove finished the game with 9 players who played in the Highland League last season. Would be astonished if Cove left back Harry Milne does not end up playing full time.

Having seen them a few times on the tellybox, Connah's Quay are brutal but it gets results. Long throws, hatchet men, a wee bit of cutting edge up front... saw off Killie anyway! jamamafegan
There’s too many foreign teams in the next round for my liking. I fear this could be the season a non Scottish side wins it.

TheScarf
As usual it’s The Caley who are left to dispose of these English, Welsh and Irish pub outfits to keep the cup in Scotland.
