That's like a 5 year old doing arithmetic. A uniform swing to Labour UK-wide is simply bollox. 

It could well happen in England, as voters...sickened by Johnson and the Tories....search for an alternative, but in Scotland the beneficiaries are far more likely to be the SNP. 

Labour in Scotland hardly have anymore credibility than the Tories.

I've been assuming for years that the UK state pension will have been wound up by the time I'm old enough to retire, or will have been b*****dised to the point that it provides even less support than it already does.

Same here. it was why I set up my personal pension when I was 21 because I was being told then (1989) not to depend on the state pension still being around. I've always looked on it as a bonus if I get it but there are so many people that will be relying on the pension alone to fund their retirement.
