Bairnardo
Everything you need to know about decades of this Royal Family, and pathetic British deference to them, is handily distilled down in this one tawdry episode.

A man whom was even afforded the opportunity to go over the questions in advance and set the boundaries, yet went ahead and spraffed a load of shite anyway. He is a complete simpleton that has no shame at all. In hindsight the funniest part of the Maitless interview is that PAs initial thoughts were that it had gone well. I'd forgotten about that! Good grief. I can't find it now, but I remember reading an article about Andrew in the aftermath of that. It wasn't centred on the allegations, but instead looked at his "diplomatic efforts" whilst a trade envoy (conclusion: largely shit) and noted that was not very intelligent and easily dazzled by power. An assessment that is pretty spot, really. Imagine putting up a bloody royal to try and impress and then it's said royal that's the one hopelessly dazzled at a man in a suit who can conduct a semi-competent sales pitch. Or, of course, continues to hang around with a convicted paedophile. Edited March 30, 2022 by Michael W
scottsdad
Not surprised Prince Andrew was at yesterday's ceremony with his mother. It's not as if they could leave him at home with the kids.
btb
Just how dodgy is Andy Pandy? Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson named in legal case over £750,000 ‘scam’ | Prince Andrew | The Guardian Quote Nebahat Isbilen, 77, was allegedly tricked by Selman Turk into giving Prince Andrew £750,000 “by way of payment for assistance” with her passport, court documents reportedly show. The documents reveal the prince has since repaid the cash after Isbilen alleged it was a scam. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by the prince or Ferguson. Edit - On a general point all three of Lizzie's boys have been found out for taking cash for favours! Liz herself has used the royal prerogative over 700 times during her reign to have legislation ammended in her favour - a right unsavoury bunch! Woman gives Ponce Andrew three quarters of a million to help her get a passport; she then alleges it's a scam and he returns the money. Yet "there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by the prince". So WTF did he take the money for?

You have to think the "no suggestion of any wrongdoing" is ironic, like I said in my edit all three of Lizzie's boys have taken "cash for favors" @Arch Stanton you'd have to think if they were from a council estate they'd have done time at Lizzie's pleasure! That's the least you owe me for being in my divine presence"

I don't think it would be appropriate.
Boo Khaki
Is it just urban myth that being granted the 'Freedom' of a town or city means that local hostelries are not really supposed to charge you for refreshments and lodgings? I mean, if it is indeed the case, then that's Andy fucked if he ever wants to go on a cheap stag-do and then crash in a Travel Lodge in York. I’ve got my burgess ticket in Glasgow, and still get charged for my pints!

I don't even think it gives you any privileges in regards to your sheep. It was previously used to grant peasants freedom from serfdom in Medieval times but as far as I can see you get f**k all from it these days. It's a pat on the back for being a good c**t.
MEADOWXI
Assuming as the TV is now in full 40th anniversary Falklands swing some stories of his bravery and how he single-handed won the war are due to suffer. Or whatever it was he did that removed his inability to sweat.
