mathematics
Mrs Mathematics has turned up the doom-o-meter to 11 today. I’m actually getting worried, despite being a generally carefree young man.

Figures seem to show that not one single person of the 135k cases has died without having underlying health issues. Not one. WHO reckon your chances of dying from it, under the age of 50, is 0.5%.

If you can't see the humour in a self-proclaimed Tory, who has spent the entire thread abusing the poor, demanding the pulling up of the ladder by demanding everyone stop the exact behaviour he's just been doing, then there is no hope for the education of Scottish youth. The parallels with their views on forcible and newly-imposed equality that ignores historic inequality is just too delectable to pass up. I guess a load of fitba old buys discussing their impending doom wisny the right crowd.

My understanding is because he and his colleagues had been working non-stop for weeks on end to save lives, bringing about severe exhaustion that brought them within the 'vulnerable' category.

Yep, although he did get himself into a bit of bother with the government for saying it was going to become a pandemic...

Probably because he spent about 90% of the last month of his life around the disease. Exact same happened with Ebola/SARS etc. Healthcare workers who are around the disease for such a huge, uninterrupted, length of time get absolutely battered by it.

Four hours plus is perfect isolation, wearing glove(s), taking in the freshest of air and enjoying the Perthshire vistas is *exactly* the best way beat the pandemic. That's what all be doing but if anyone wants to team up for a pairs of foursomes game tell them no siree - I'll be teeing it up on my own and I won't be visiting the clubhouse for a toastie and a hot beverage afterwards. Clubs in the Ceed and home to Western Perthshire. No prizes for guessing who this is.
