No doubt he’s just referring to his own UTTERLY SHITE INCOMPETENTLY MANAGED WORKPLACE as usual.

What would you call a place that told you to switch off the covid app? Exceptional, trustworthy, well managed?

One of my stepdaughters starts back at work in a care home on Friday. She hasn't had her jab yet, and my wife thinks she might not get one as she's agency and not NHS. That couldn't be right, surely?

It would be insanely dumb if she's not. Keep us informed.

What are the bets that this mad-rush panic, which has packed every supermarket in the country with non-socially-distanced morons, will result in a wider spread of the virus than if Tier 4 level rules had just carried on?

I know. It has to be the biggest mouth breathers of society who choose not to wear a mask and go shopping at the same time as me.

Unsure mate. I presume they should be if they're not just able to get full sick pay?

I don't even think I should be shielding any more  as i'm no longer on treatment and still no evidence of disease for 18 months 🤞

I do have a kiddy on lung disease that qualifies me, but I've never ever had any symptoms and it was only discovered by accident on an unrelated chest xray.

I still get all the correspondence tho. I'd contact my gp in the first instance to check you are still considered shielding tbh

I got a letter from the CMO just the other week regarding going to work in Tier 4 so I assume so.

NHS workers and care home workers so far. I know a few people in those sectors who have received the first dose.
The only people I know who have had a jab so far are all health care workers. I've got a few relatives in their 80s and none of them have had any word of when they might get one yet.

Thermal imaging
You just can't make up where this has gone!!
It's a ripper of a device. Stands head high and it creates a heat map of your body then gives a green or red light depending on reading. Must have cost a fair bit. If you refuse to be scanned it's straight back out the door too. No messing from the "admission police"

Care home residents too. Certainly my dad has had dose number one a couple of weeks ago.
