Billy Jean King
It's nowt to do with being OK but you'd be blaming the CC if there ended up 20000,30000 due to his actions, we'll have more to worry about transmission from all the inside gatherings today. One of those is happening behind closed doors unknown to the police, the other is being escorted through the streets by the police with roads being closed to facilitate it. A huge difference.

If they all test negative pre-match, then the risk of on pitch transmission is surely negligible due to that, isn't that the point of testing? The article is behind a paywall, but did their research include matches where neither team were tested?

Heavy-handedness would just have exacerbated it IMO, this isn't a few thousand folk making a look at me protest.

They're doing what most on here have been greeting about not being able to do for a year, enjoying themselves, not be long until we're all doing as we please if restrictions remain too tight for too long. I'm in no way objecting to them celebrating. In normal times I couldn't have cared less and have done similar after big Saints success but it feels like a massive kick in the pie for everyone following the lockdown rules at this time.

It is a kick in the pie but most of us would do the same if it was our side. -
Donathan
There are many reasons to hate Sevco and their fans. Breaking a sham lockdown that should have been lifted ages ago is not one of them. -

You can rest assured, that if in the highly unlikely event, it was a team from out with that horrific city that had won a title, the narrative would be completely different.
ayrmad
I'm surprised at the amount of seethe on here from some that have done nowt but moan about restrictions for 12 months, BJK excepted. -

Clearly the only thing to do is to chaperone them through the streets like an Orange walk! An absolute, full-blown minter for Police Scotland and by extension the SG who they report to. The will be drafting in knuckle draggers from all over England for the climate conference the same as they did for the G8. Kitting out thousands of riot police today on the off chance Celtic dropped points at Tannadice would have been a bit OTT.
