Not quite at that stage yet, however if we can't beat Queens on Friday night then yes, we are total gang

Failing to beat Queens in their current state would mr more embarrasing than that time we only managed to score once when Raith had Ryan Stevenson in nets.

Two goals tonight. A super finish for Hemmings following a delightful through ball from Gowser. And a nice second thanks to awful defending reminiscent of Dundee this season against Partick, QoS, and Inverness at Dens earlier this season.
We look better balanced at the back. Hazard, Berra have really made a difference, as has Elliot at the right. Ayr had some good pressure in the middle part of the first half with a pop over the bar, and a great sliding header touched on to the post. They had good movement but no stinging final ball, to such an extent that Hazard has nothing to do in the second half. Never thought we’d lose a goal other than through our own mistakes in the second half.
For Dundee, it was great to see two forwards up front where the effort was good but the goals didn’t come.
I thought Byrne was well involved and confident which is good as he’s often been invisible. Great finish by Hemmings, but for me the best Dee today was McDaid in his wingback role: he did pretty well defensively in tackling and cutting out cross field balls; his attacking was good to with movement and neat interplay; and his corners caused Ayr plenty problems. Perhaps it was the motivation of playing his old team.
Anyway this form is welcome, although it’s about three months too late.

Well that was shite. Should have scored twice in the first half, never looked close to scoring in the second.
We were second to everything tonight and the two goals we lost would be embarrassing at amateur level.
Another season dropping off a cliff, we’ll be lucky to stay in the playoffs and we’ve absolutely no hope of winning them.
Guaranteed to lose to QOS on Friday too, that’s apparently mandatory!
