Unless they've had a nod and a wink that they'll be kept up.

Budge will be doing everything in her power to get that through. Lower league sides feeling sorry for Hearts should be wary, she's already publicly said on multiple occasions that shes trying to get the SPFL to cut the amount of teams in it by half.

No idea who Jordan Campbell is but as he's not competent enough to understand how the vote works I'll presume his "belief" is equally ill informed.

Hes a Rangers fan who writes articles for "The Athletic", I think.

And what's the chances on league reconstruction getting voted through.

Remember that time when the SPFL were alleged to be bullying clubs to vote a certain way? Some pressure they've put on Inverness.

Scot Gardiner sat behind his desk screaming "No Surrender!" down the phone whilst listening to Johnny Scobbie.

Wonder what set length of time they will give that scenario.

Which means Inverness are promoted without being in an automatic promotion spot. No wonder they are mucking about.

Pretty much my thoughts.

Top flight sides were promised a record slice of a record sized pie next season, combined with reduced income this season, means I can't see them voting for it.

It’s understood by Record Sport that the Championship club that has us all on the edge of our seat is Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The SPFL are yet to confirm the identity of the last second-tier club to vote, whose decision could crown some clubs as champions and relegate others.

But it appears like it’s the Highlanders who are kingmakers at the moment.

Presumably a calculated move by ICT.  14 team top flight now guaranteed.

There will be, one way or another.

I assume you will have been told already. However, there is no pay back. The government will claim some of back via tax and NI. Its simple economics. If they didnt intervene then they would get nothing as everyone would be unemployed and companies would go bust and economy would go into recession.
